OLED technology will contribute to better and cheaper displays for all kinds of devices, not just mobile phones and PDAs, but eventually also for use in desktop displays, TVs, billboards and so on. 
The advantage of using OLED technology is that you don't then need a backlight. Displays can be made thinner and lighter. They also consume less power, react faster and have a wider viewing angle.
